Dr. Rémi Nguyen
Director
Dr. Rémi Nguyen is the founder and Director of MLR Advisory. He studied in France, Vietnam, Myanmar, and the United Kingdom. In 2018, he earned his PhD in law from the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS).
In addition, Dr. Rémi Nguyen is a member of the academic project on Principles of Asian Contract Law and the founder of Myanmar Law Library. Since 2019, he has been an associate researcher at the Institute of Research on Contemporary Southeast Asia (IRASEC) based in Bangkok, Thailand, and an auditor for the ISO 9001:2015 certificate.
Dr. Rémi Nguyen has gained significant experience in risk advisory and compliance to support foreign companies in their development and to assist local businesses in their partnerships in Myanmar and Vietnam. He has worked in many sectors, including construction, industry, banking, healthcare, and IT.
In September 2020, he also became a member of the editorial committee of the Science and Technology Development Journal: Economics - Law & Management (STDJELM) at the University of Economics and Law in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Dr. Rémi Nguyen is a Trade Advisor of France in Vietnam and a member of French Tech Vietnam.
He speaks English and French and can communicate in Thai and Vietnamese.
